from what you said about the meetings it seems like the others already have issues they want to support. probably better to go independent. find some way to register a charity and do it that way.with the business you can give some of the women work, creating things for you to sell and putting some of the profits into it. my daughter used to do the markets in london. cheaper way to start than renting a shop although shop would be the long term aim. i have a shoulder bag design i can give to you. i make and sell it myself but can be incorporated using afghan embroidery as a panel on the front. it has sold well here, at times.(not recently, in this particular place)
