it depends on if you do on calls... there is something called a base salary and then banding depending on how many extra hours u work and how senior u are....
startng pay for an FY1 is about £25 000 per annum
an SHO usually lasts 3 years an the pay goes up per year... if your banded as I am and Im a second year SHO in Psychiatry (though Im changing specialities hopefully) then ull be on about £41 000 per anumm... registra a bit more and increases every year for the 5 years of registra level... most consultants are on £120 000 per annum, a GP if they are salaried GP will be on about £70 000 a partner GP will be on £150 000
also u can locum at any level 2 supplement your income... I locum as an SHO and do internal medical on calls... I get about £40 an hr
