i liked bristol a lot because of how communities are constructed there. like all our needs were within walking distance: school, groceries, doctor... everything. and people really knew each other. like we stayed in touch with my old neighbours when we moved here even, but they passed away now. so yeah, i felt way stronger communities in england.

in canada people aren't really like that. you might see your neighbour 3 times in the whole year, and it's just hi or bye. the lifestyle here is all work work work, because if you don't, you can't survive.
