OH MY GOD! I'm SO SO JEALOUS!!!!
Currently, I've to write a research paper for publication that deals with Pukhtun women's agency in marriage -- specifically, how our concept of honor plays a role in their selecting or de-selecting partners for marriage, particularly when it's their choice and even more particularly when it's a non-Pukhtun. I need a group of Pukhtun females, preferably from back home, to talk to about this :S But i've been told that this is too personal a topic for Pukhtun women to want to talk about ... but it'll be anonymous! I won't judge them, I promise, lol ... I just need to talk to some women who chose their own partners.
Will give you more details on Tuesday when I meet with my mentor about how I should go about accomplishing this.
