First and foremost, I love you nick. Secondly, I am not an Islamic scholar so I don't have the authority to pass on judgements on what is right and what is wrong.

But what I can tell you is the fact that as long as the transaction does not have Riba(interest) in it then you are clear. Avoid interest at all cost!
