When Ahmad first started to sing, he did not want his family knowing of his career. The reason why, his family were well, respected Pakhtuns from Laghman. They were very well known because his father was Prime Minister. So he had refused to make videos, just so that his family does not see (particularly his father). He didnt want his family to be ashamed and to lose their title of respect. So he only wanted his music going through the radio. His father was very strict, he wanted his son to be educated, successful, like himself. His father had no idea that his son. No one in the family told his father. One day Ahmad and his father were sitting down listening to the radio. One of Ahmad's songs come on, he didnt know what to do because his father was sitting there listening.
