Salam Alaikom Kandahary,
We must rely on sahih bukhari and then sahih Muslim. The narration of Ahadith is a science itself, a science that encourages indepth research and analysis. Some Islamic scholars base their entire PhD on a single hadith, so don't buy things at face value instead invest time to find the source and context.
