My mom says she is perfect and going to heaven and has never done wrong in her life. But shes had a boyfriend for 18 years that she lives with...used to sell drugs, almost lost me as a baby because she drank too much...dresses really provocative. But she doesn't see any of that as a sin - so its hard for her to see why I do. She is really uneducated in her religion. She even brought me to a priest and he told her to cover up - minidresses were not church attire. So until she understands her own religion, I can't expect her to understand mine.
