I was talking of Abu Dhabi, not Dubai - but for the record, Dubai is the "western" magnet here. There again - you kind of prove yourself wrong - on the one hand suggesting that Europeans don't venture here because "you don't see the evidence" and then on the other hand liken Dubai to a kind of middle eastern Las Vegas.

At least your are consistent in your inconsistence.

Most Americans don't get to travel so they would not know of a place called Abu Dhabi. That's why you don't see the evidence.
