Sheenkay, the tissues have been grouped according to the same function but they differ in terms of their location, morphology (Internal/External structure),types of cells, and the organelles within the cells.I will try to explain the questions with the example of Renal Medulla and Wall of Large Intestine (Similar function-Absorption of salts and water).

Let's start with the Renal medulla and wall of the colon:

Similar Function: Absorption of Salts and Water before they pass out from body.Kidney is a major organ of Excretory system.Large intestine is the 2nd-to-last organ of the digestive system.

Here you have to differentiate the structure of Renal medulla and wall of large intestine.For instance, Renal medulla is the inner part of the kidney and consists of Loop of Henle, collecting ducts,etc. The wall of intestine is made up of columnar epithelium, goblet cells etc.
The remaining part of the question asks about the organelles of the cells in the tissues.Let's take goblet cell as an example--its cytoplasm consists of Rough Endoplasmic Reticulum, nucleus, mitochondria, microvilli, and mucinogen granules (from which they secrete mucin).Location: they are more prevalent in the crypts, and there is a progressive increase in their number distally towards the rectum.
3.explain how each tissue is able to carry related out their role.
The primary function of the colon is to absorb water and electrolytes (such as salts) from the ileal contents (chyme) through its mucous membrane and to store fecal material until it can be evacuated by defecation.

How Renal Medulla and Wall of Large intestine are related (comparing here!)? The primary function of both tissues is to regulate the amount of salts and water leaving the body.Although the function is similar, the mechanism is different.For instance, renal medulla performs resorption of salts and water from urine through Henle's Loop and Collecting ducts, whereas the large intestine performs absorption on the digested food before it is excreted from body.
(You have been asked to compare the morphological features and functions of both tissues (as I did in the last part) not separately so you have to describe the features of renal kidney alongside large intestine epithelium.

So let's take Skeletal muscle and Cardiac muscle as our next example.
Skeletal muscle/ cardiac muscle (Similar function: Movement)
Skeletal muscles bring about the movement of the various bones of the skeleton in vertebrates (hence the name skeletal muscles).The primary function is to perform co-ordinated movements of the various bones in pairs through contraction and relaxation (Antagonistic movement in pair--one contracts, other relaxes) .They are involved in the breathing process.Cardiac (heart) muscle performs the contraction of the atria and ventricles of the heart. This tissue results in the rhythmical beating of the heart, resulting in the circulation of the blood throughout the body.

Comparisons:
Structural features:
A (skeletal muscles): these are cylindrical in shape and are attached to bones; have regular myofibrils; few mitochondria; many nuclei/muscle fiber; and regular sarcomeres, and have nerve endings.
B (Cardiac muscles): Branched-shaped and are not attached to bones;have regular myofibrils; multiple mitochondria; single nucleus/muscle fiber; and regular sarcomeres, and devoid of nerve endings.
(You should also write about (comparing actually) the structure of both muscles.For example,the cellular organelles/macromolecules of S.M such as sarcolemma /Sarcoplasm, Sarcoplasmic reticulum, myofibrils, etc.)
Functional features:
A: excited by nerves; fast contraction;high force production.
B:They are self-excited; slow contraction; high force production
(I could have wrote more advanced and complex morphological features such calcium ions etc., but I am assuming you don't need it??

In brief:

Skin/lining of oesophagus (epithelial tissue--Protective function as similar function): Epithelial cells make aclosely packed tissue and could be a single layer(known as single epithelium) or more than one layer (Stratified epithelium).The function of the skin epithelium is to protect the underlying cells against invading microorganisms, regulation of heat/water/salt (sweating), mechanical/chemical damages etc.


Adrenal cortex/ islets of Langerhans in the pancreas (Similar function: Hormonal secretion)

Retina of the eye/ skin (Similar function:sensory tissue--Sense of sight/Sense of touch respectively).
