Pure propaganda using a child (not on your part but on the part of the video makers and questioners). The proof lies in the data:
http://blogs.wsj.com/middleeast/2013...ypts-travails/
"If the Pew results are correct, it could mean more of the same in parliamentary elections scheduled for this fall.
Nearly two-thirds of Egyptians still hold the Muslim Brotherhood, which holds power over almost every lever of governance, in esteem, marking only a slight decline from the 75% who had a favorable view of the group in 2011."
"Meanwhile, 53% of Egyptians express a favorable view of Mr. Morsi compared to 43% who had a negative impression of the president — a rebuke to the secular-leaning opposition’s claims that the tide of public opinion is turning against the presidency and his Brotherhood backers."
"Mr. Morsi is also doing better than his secular-leaning former rivals to the presidency. Mohamed ElBaradei, the NSF’s leader and a Nobel Peace Prize laureate is seen in a positive light by only 40% of Egyptians, down from about 60% two years ago. Ahmed Shafiq, a former Mubarak loyalist who lost to Mr. Morsi by a hair last summer, scored only 45% favorability rating to Mr. Morsi’s 53%."
"Fifty-eight percent of respondents said they believe that the country’s laws should strictly follow the teachings of the Koran while 28% believe laws should follow the “values and teachings of the Koran.”
Meanwhile, only 11% believe that the Koran should have no influence over laws."
------------------------------------------------------------
Also regarding his comment on how the constitution enshrines Quranic law as it relates to the role of the husband
Once again so what?
Its an actual verse in the Quran which at least 58% of the Egyptian people view strictly.
If the majority of the Egyptian people except for a few guys in foo fighter t shirts view that as their societal mores and values, its for them to decide whether its sane or insane.
So basically the goal of the Egyptian black bloc father who indoctrinated his kid to make this video is to somehow show the outside world that it has a right to fund the Egyptian military to subvert Egyptian society's chosen value system so that 11% of the population can force their values on the remaining contingent???
How will that bring stability?
Instead - let the Egyptian people do as they wish and eventually they will have to decide amongst themselves how they interpret law and constitutions.
This approach of the Mubarakites and the Wael Ghoneims is pretty much the same approach that was used in Iran - to provide a slanted view of Iranian society and force the Shah of Iran onto the people.
Look what a mess that led to."2 crackheads don't become any better or stronger by sharing the same crack pipe." - Greatest PF quote

The reason why extremist groups emerged in Egypt was because of inhumane treatment of political prisoners and misguided principles of islamist movements.Originally posted by FirdousiNever talk with Afghans about politics. Well said. Has he done anything to piss off the international community? Usually, those are the reasons why a leader is ousted; albeit this time a 'DEMOCRATICALLY' elected leader is ousted. Shame, shame. I just can't get over it.Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.
A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai
For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."
The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

All across Europe there are thousands of people who sympathize with him and his likes. Not all of them act upon their convictions, but there is enough literature available.Originally posted by khushal View Postthe guy was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenic and he was just one person, there isn't a bunch of him doing what he did on a weekly basisOriginally posted by FirdousiNever talk with Afghans about politics.
