  • That Myth Thats Propped up by 59 nations And Would Otherwise be Destroyed

There are those that personally have benefited from the war in Afghanistan. Many of these people are on the par with the men of former eras like Kuli Khan Khattak who sold his people and land to the British for personal and clan gain. Kuli, and some of his descendants preach this to this day, they used to heap high praise on the Brits for building edifices of brick and mortar while the same Brits would go on to fill the ground with the bodies of Pashtun villagers in the frontier wars against men like Taurangzai and Faqir of Ipi. They told their people to go abroad serve the British army and die against the Turks and in Sudan against the Germans. How ironic right? That young Pashtuns from the village were fighting for one imperial power (the Limey Brits) against another one (The Germans).

These modern Kuli Khans are paid well relative to the average poor rural farmer, villager, or tribesperson in Afghanistan to help support imperialism under the guise of "advancement" and "development." I suppose when on has very little, its hard to blame them when someone comes along and convinces them that the price of REAL autonomy is well worth some shoddily built contractor designed buildings in Kabul with a Dell PC here and a Dell PC there. This is a step up after all, right? Why take the time (300+ years usually) and effort and pain and toil to build your own country when you think someone else can be pick pocketed to do it for you?

After all, the argument imperialist's lackeys general make to their fellow citizens is the same argument that was utilized in the divide and conquer approach all over the world:

"Hey guess what, if you just submit to an imposed imperial government you'll get some goodies out of it. Sure, you will lose autonomy, and sure we have countless examples in the last century where Imperials used the same exact approach in Latin America and in centuries before in the North Americas and in more recent memory in the Arab states and Asia (Vietnam) and those nation states are completely dysfunctional today or serve purely as an output for an Imperium (e.g. the Divided Koreas)... but hey, look at my iPhone!"

Of course these folks are similar all over the world. Here in the US the Miami Cubans were the paid off lackeys of their day. They supported Batista, a brutal tyrant and dictator who used to funnel off Cuba's natural resources and sugar as well as fruits to Corporate interests like the United Fruit Company while the Cuban masses starved. The NYC Mafia and Western political officials used to treat Havana like a Las Vegas except without any laws and leave with hundreds of thousands of dollars as well as the honor of many a Cuban woman. When Castro and Che Guevara over turned this agreement and threw out Batista - those that stayed and supported the Cuban government were similarly maligned and embargoed etc. The Miami crowd however did their best (and continue to try to do their best) to put the iron boot back on the neck of Cuba for a few trinkets and goodies.... basically their goal is to sell their land and their dignity for some shoddily built power lines and some hoodlum foreign imposed officials who all seem to wear Rayban sun glasses.

Like the Miami Cubans, these Dog washers as the Afghans call them are all about trying to present this as "the only way forward to develop" without furnishing a single example where and when true autonomy was sacrificed that resulted in an equally true sustained developed powerful nation state that preserved its culture, tradition, and religious ideals. Because the devil is in the details... they do not mention that foreign largesse comes with a price every single time. And that price will be collected one way or another.

The reality is that the support for the Afghan "government," the most highly powered polls, is at an at an all time low:

This year’s survey shows that Afghan optimism about the overall direction of the country fell to the lowest point in a decade, after steadily rising through 2014. Afghans are particularly concerned about security, and the proportion who fear for their personal safety is at the highest point in the past decade. The economy and unemployment have also emerged as major concerns, especially for youth and for women. Many Afghans say their employment opportunities have declined over the past year. There has been a sharp decline in the level of satisfaction with and confidence in different levels of government and public institutions, and the number of Afghans who are satisfied with how democracy works in their country hit an all-time low in 2015. While anti-corruption efforts at the highest levels have increased, the proportion of Afghans who say that corruption is a problem in their daily lives is at the highest point in a decade.

Or as an example of just how ignorant and incapable this government is refer to this recent news of how the thieves all fail to recognize one another LOL. It took 16 years and the rip off of high level government officials (who themselves probably did not notice since they were busy ripping someone else off the way Karzai was with respect to the bags of money and the Dubai money laundering):

KABUL, Afghanistan — He arrived in northern Afghanistan bearing certificates of appreciation from the presidential palace in Kabul — a favored token of Afghan officials, second only to government medals.
The dignitary, a burly young man with a massive watch, was provided security by Afghan commandos and ushered around in one of the government’s precious helicopters. District governors in Baghlan Province posed with him for photographs; generals clicked their heels together in respect and then gladly extended their hands to receive their certificates.
The only problem? The man, who had introduced himself as Sardar Zmarai, a prince and a senior representative from President Ashraf Ghani’s Office of the National Security Council, was actually a serial impostor — a daring con.
And after more than a decade of tricking officials and business executives across the country, and growing rich from it, Mr. Zmarai, the son of a wheat seller, had pushed his luck a little too far...
However, I defer to Mullah Trump who said it best regarding the state of affairs:

" because that thing (Afghan National Government) will collapse about two seconds after they (ISAF) leave. "
    Truer words were never spoken!
