Digital Engagement Team at U.S. CENTCOM is delighted to convey its best wishes to all Afghans for a safe and happy 97th Independence Day.
This is an opportunity to reflect on your achievements and recommit to a future of greater development, security, stability, economic growth and everlasting peace.
Being independent, however, does not mean being alone. The United States and its allies will remain side by side with the people of Afghanistan to eradicate terrorism and its roots a common enemy from the region.
Respectfully,
Hashmat
