Special Forces formed to counter Daesh in Afghanistan

The activities of Daesh terrorist group are having a devastating effect on the lives of Afghans in Achin district of Nangarhar province. Local residents of Achin say that Daesh fighters have terrorized the entire population of our district by destroying our homes, running prisons, killing our livestock, and executing our youth and community elders. Lately, Daesh terrorist groups have had a major setback in Achin district. The newly established Afghan Special Forces jointly with Achin district locals have cleared 28 villages from Daesh fighters and people have returned to their homes. Afghan Government officials have promised Achin residents that their schools and healthcare clinics will be reopened very soon.
