Security operations of Afghan National Security Forces

On a daily basis, Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) is conducting security operations throughout Afghanistan that aim to eliminate terrorist cells and insurgent groups. Although security remains fragile in many parts of the country, but ANSF is working hard to secure Afghanistan and its borders. ANSF has been conducting security operations throughout Afghanistan, independently, since NATO ended its combat mission in Afghanistan in December 2014.ANSF has been regularly praised by Afghan and international leadership for their effective, competent, and confident role in fighting insurgency.
Resolute Support Mission, allies and partner countries are committed to working with the Afghan government and its security institutions for a better and secure Afghanistan.
