Daesh is not only a threat to peace, security and stability, but also a serious threat to education in Afghanistan. According to directorate of education in Nangarhar province, 58 schools have been closed by Daesh fighters, and 300,000.00 children face a dire future because either their schools have been closed or face security threats. Access to education is everyone’s right, and Daesh should not be given the chance to impose its extreme ideology on Afghan lives. “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” Said Nelson Mandela. It is time for all Afghans to unite against Daesh and stand against brutalities and their extreme ideologies.
