Dear readers,
The CENTCOM Digital Engagement Team is repulsed by Wednesday’s suicide bombing in Helmand province which killed 7 and injured 18 civilians. This is clearly a hateful act against civilians. Insurgents have always targeted civilians, sacred sites and other religious venues. We send our condolences to the friends and family of those killed at this difficult time, and we pray for the speedy recovery of the injured.
Respectfully,
Hashmat
