Developing professional, capable and sustainable Afghan security forces is a priority task for the NATO led International Security Assistance Forces (ISAF).
There is no doubt that among other sectors there has been ample progress in security sectors over the past decade. Our shared goal with the Afghan people is to ensure the tremendous progress achieved is preserved through international and Afghan investments, and sacrifices are consolidated and transformed into sustainable stability.
Another major milestone for Afghan Security Forces is that Afghan Air Force can now independently conduct casualty evacuation. Adding this capability will increase the morale, not only in the Afghan Air Force, but in the entire Afghan National Security Forces.
In your opinion, what could be done to better assist Afghan National Security Forces and exceed the expectations of Afghan people?
Respectfully,
