Efforts to raise awareness on violence against women

[Hashmat]

Afghan women have come a long way since the Taliban ruled the country- where they were forced indoors and into the all-encompassing Burqa. Numerous international organizations are working closely with Afghans to promote the rights of women across the country. According to Afghanistan’s Constitution, article 54: “Family is a fundamental unit of society and is supported by the state.” Today, girls are in school and women are in the workforce, with some even holding seats in the parliament. The international community is committed to supporting this advancement and will work together with the law-enforcement officials of Afghanistan to better address the issue of violence against women.
In your opinion: What is the best method to educate the local population about women’s rights?
