Instead of a unified India today with 900 Million Hindus counter balanced with 500 Million Muslims...you have those same 500 Million Muslims split across 3 countries...leaving the Muslims of India vulnerable
A unified India east of the Indus wouldve been more prone to a secularist state...Lord knows east of the Indus is historic Hindustan anyways and the people are more similiar in culture
Meanwhile west of Indus in the form of Afghanistan and Balochistan wouldve retained its Iranic culture and Central Asian nature
