This year 1150 students will have access to newly constructed education facilities in Kunduz province. The project was funded as part of the Stabilization Program for Northern Afghanistan (SPNA). It includes two schools in Dashti Archi and Chardar districts and a newly constructed teacher training college in Imam-Sahib district. The facilities also have a mosque, furnished classrooms, eight administrative rooms, and a well that will provide drinking water. This is a significant change since prior to this, students in these districts were taught under tents and rented buildings.
Do you agree that building education infrastructure is an important step in improving the living conditions of people in Kunduz?
