This year, Afghanistan’s Civil Aviation Authority (ACAA) and NATO’s Resolute Support mission have developed procedures to enhance the country’s air space management. This means there are procedures in place that ensure safe separation of military and civilian air traffic. This is a significant achievement for the ACAA allowing not only safety for all aircrafts in a particular air space, but also meeting International Civil Aviation standards.
