  • Favourite stand up comedians?

Stand up comedy is humourous and much better than MR Been and Jim Carrey type comedy which is basically for kids and those who are mentally handicapped.

Some of my favs include, Billy Connoley, Dylan Moran, Dave Chappelle, Eddy Murphy, Mike Wilmot, Sean Locke, Lee mack, Frankie Boyle, Milton Jones etc.

Mike Wilmot being married to the same women for 24 years. lol

i don't care too much for stand up comedy, it seems like they can't try to be funny without being extremely vulgar.

my favorite bit has to be the chris rock one

        blacks vs niggas

There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

Black comedians are great social commentators and also know the truth, but they know where they live so they use their comedy to spread knowledge subliminally.

One of my fav, some adult subject matter, watch with discretion :

I get your point about vulgarity but I have noticed its usually black Afro American stand up comedians who are the most vulgar in terms of the language used. Maybe thats why you have such an opinion. British stand up comedy is in class of its own but you have to be familiar with British culture and humour sometimes to undrestand it. Its quite intelligent and humourous. There are many comedians who will make you laugh without using a single swear word.

Thats true but one thing I find annoying is the subject matter they always talk about. Its usually about race and the ghetto. You can't really relate to it fully if you are not black or from the ghetto yourself. I undrestand where they are coming from and the educational message in some of their comedy but most of the times its just repetitive and boring because of vulgar language and subject matter.
