Also, remember how the eastern world also reffered to all Europeans, even the eastern europeans who dissociated with the Latin, as Romans?

          2. Like how Pakistanis call white people "Gora people", well let me explain. In Pakistani languages like Punjabi and Urdu , White mean's Chitta, or Safed is used (a borrowed persian word), but when reffering to people, we say "Gora". Do pashtuns have any term for europeans which refers to their light complexion, what about Russians during the soviet war? were they too called Parangai?
Good information about the Ferengi. To reply to your 2nd question, I'm not aware of any term for simply 'white' people.

I've heard Angrez for English, Shorawi for Russian, and Farangi. Also, the word Desi was never used, but I have heard Afghans who lived in UK and around South Asians, refer to themselves as Desi, which made no sense to me. Isn't this also related to skin color?
