toobah toobah, i just saw the footage of 10 ships getting tossed by a wall of water and 30 cars getting washed away like toys. The footage is crazy.

i heard there is a nuclear reactor that is going to melt down if it isn't cooled down by water.

Japan has been prepared for this since Kobe in 90's. But they didnt protect themselves against the Tsunami which has caused most of the destruction.

Surah 27, Ayah 88 "Thou see the mountains and think them firmly fixed, but they shall pass away as the clouds pass away. (Such is) the artistry of Allah, who disposes of all things in perfect order: for he is well acquainted with all that ye do."

Surah 99, Ayah 1-2 "When the earth is shaken to her utmost convulsion (earthquake), and the earth throws her burden (weights) from within.

Surah 22, Ayah 1 "O mankind! Fear your Lord! For the convulsion (earthquake) of the Hour (of Judgment) will be a terrible thing."

ofcoarse many people had moved to safer areas after the earthquake. The tsunami alert was announced after the strong earthquake but ppl still didnt manage to escape. Did you see the ppl in the fields running from the water, the cars which were driving here there to escape?

Da chaa kara da sko uba na yee, ao da cha kara tsunamyane yee (some don't have water for drinking while others have tusamis!!!). Daa hum da khwdey qudrat dey, zama da mor khabara.

I have no words for what's going on there. The fear in the people's eyes, the beatings of the hearts of those doing the recording of some videos here and there, the screams of some and the silence of the ones standing right in the face of death ... it's destructive. My heart goes out to all those being affected and all those who will be affected. Daa da dwe de qyamat wraz da kana.
God have mercy on them and on the rest of us. Times like these, I really wonder what the point of life is if it's gonna end like this for so many of us. (Please, spare me the philosophies behind it all. I know most believe it to be a sign from God, and others are certain this is a punishment/warning for the unbelievers.)

But, hey, at least they're getting a lot of attention from the world. That's good to see. Hopefully, the survivors will get a lot of help as well.

haiti's quake center was actually inside the country i believe. plus the depth of the quake matters.

like 200,000 people died in haiti, around 1,000 in japan.
