The most senior US military officer has accused Pakistan's spy agency of supporting the Haqqani group in last week's attack on the US Kabul embassy.

So? They might as well go the whole 9-yards and accuse such nations as China, Iran, and Russia, too? Oh, they have accused Iran. So what if Iran supports the end of this war by all means. Shouldn't all nations be striving to end this occupation and war? Is it not just? Or do you perhaps think otherwise?

yadda yadda ya. This clown can keep screaming all he wants. In a decade of a war of aggression against Afghanistan, they lost. Why should anyone support US interests which have failed?

Some 25 people died in last Tuesday's 20-hour attack on Kabul's US embassy and other official buildings.

Today, US forces killed over 19 Afghan civilians. Couple days ago, they killed 12. In anger of defeat and low morale, they are started to in fact brag about killing Afghan people. Tsk tsk, it is pathetic when a one time superpower can't accept defeat, and looks for scapegoats.
So, is this not condemnable? The thousands of airstrikes and night raids they have waged against Afghanistan? Or is it acceptable? What do you think someone in Paktika or Helmand would say to such?

What I'm slightly more perplexed about is when it has been open knowledge for several years that there are elements in Pakistan clearly bent on destabilising the neighbourhood |
So, you think the US is not the source of destabilization?
Pakistan destabilized Afghanistan by supporting the US war against Afghanistan.
All freedom loving nations should support Afghanistan independence and freedom from foreign aggression.
Why do you think Afghans fight? Care to explain? Do you Afghans accept this below?

, why the US has been seemingly as supportive and 'tolerant' of Pakistan as they have. Short-termism perhaps, but it is a bizarre, if not a suicidal approach to US foreign policy.
|
The US foreign policy in itself is suicidal and has brought the collapse of this nation from its economy to its internal structure. There will be no recovery. Wars against any Eastern country will fail as Eastern people reject aggression, and will always fight it. the US is the obstacle to peace in Afghanistan, the rest of the region, and the rest of the world. It is fortunate for world peace that with their economical collapse also comes the end of their wars.

An unfortunate choice of word in that last sentence, but this is something that I would really like to know.

Very unfortunate choice of words, indeed!
