Afghan officials say at least 19 civilians have been killed during military operations carried out by US-led forces in eastern Afghanistan, Press TV reports.

Yes, the US is already talking about international isolation for Pakistan and comparing it to Syria, which was an "axis of evil" state.

The worst case scenario would be the fall of current govt and the establishment of technocratic type interim govt.

Yes, this is virtually happening now with Zardari's administration essentially being sidelined and key administrative and governmental duties being exercised directly by the army e.g. flood management, ensuring peace in Karachi etc.

Your post was basically correct in every way, the only thing is all of these things happened far quicker than many expected, within days and not weeks or months.
