Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Secretary General Liaquat Baloch has warned that government would have to face severe resistance if it attempted to restore the Nato supply as hinted by defence minister.
He said that Allied parties of Difa-e-Pakistan Council have unanimously decided to react sharply if rulers repeated the past mistakes.
Liaquat Baloch said that present regime had buried the issue of Kashmir and declared India as 'most favourite nation, while the Kashmiris have rendered tremendous sacrifices for their liberation from Indian occupation but the so-called democratic government of Pakistan has caused severe damage to Kashmir Movement by continuing dictator's policies.
Addressing the JI workers here on Tuesday, he stressed upon the government to restore actual Kashmir policy.
He said that the only way to achieve success on Kashmir issue was to extend all-out support to Kashmiris on diplomatic and social fronts.
He warned the government not to restore Nato supply at any cost, saying any ill-advised step would bring disaster to the country.
He declared that a sit-in would be staged outside Parliament on February 20, followed by a series of likewise activities across the country against Nato supply.
He claimed that the upcoming February 12 Difa-e-Pakistan Conference in Karachi would prove a historic event.
He mentioned that JI was the host of the moot and all patriotic political and religious parties would fully participate in it.
