A 1.5 km more road asphalted for the Refugee’s Township was opened by the province government Musa Khan Akbarzad in the central province of Ghazni.

Polish Provincial Reconstruction Team PRT had asphalted 1.5km road costing $480,000 for the recently built Refugees’ Township in the province—a project among other 10km road built in the city, Governor Musa Khan Akbarzada told reporters.

He said 48 km roads are being built and asphalted in the city, among them 10km was completed to be asphalted, work on 14 km is in progress and 18km is said to be put under construction.

The entire Ghazni city roads are said to be constructed and asphalted as the city is expected to be introduced a cultural and civilization center for the Islamic countries by 2013.
