No i dont think so. Many native Nuristanis speak either Pakhto (Jalababadi version) or Dari. Though few have still kept their language.

I heard Nuristani in my village. Its a cute language. But cant understand it :(

I had a Nooristani family in Hayatabad as neighbour married to an Arab...They spoke Pashto...but was very religious...

its the skin of mountain goat, very traditional in the area.

^ Yeah. Even though Nuristanis have not been Muslims for that long. They take Islam very serious. Very religious and conservative people. I love them.

the nuristani family in Hayatabad, did they majority have green/blue eyes. Where they light skinned. Were they Sayyids?

they speak kalash but also can speak pashto very fluently.

Afghan is right.They speak Kalash language. They can speak Urdu and Pashto also.But there are lot of Nuristanis in Chitral who came from Afghanistan.I think the difference between Nuristanis and Kalash is that the former accepted Islam.I have few pictures of them that I will share here.

Hmm I have heard Kalash language because I visited the valley myself once. But I don't know about the difference.
