I would like to know which members on this forum are from Afghanistan and Pakhtunkhwa. I have been a member of this forum for quite a while and I'm still trying to figure out where most of the members come from.

I am from Laghman, Afghanistan. In case if no one knows, its located in Eastern Afghanistan. It borders the mountainous provinces of Nangarhar, the greenery of Kunar, and the outstanding view of Nuristan.

Though my great Neeka was Kandahari. So that is where i am originally from.

yeah my fore fathers were also from Kandahar. My great-grandfather came to Laghman for land.

Umm Are you refering to the area North of Kabul or is that a tribe? Sorry!!

Its Northern Kabul, towards Shamali, Paghman, those areas. I believe majority from those areas are Ghilzai

I'm actually Durani. I have Ghilzai family members. I probably have the most mixed family members in Afghanistan from different parts of the country. I take pride in this and hopefully we will experience peace one day so I can travel around and meet everyone.

Yeah...when i went to Laghman. I met so many Alocozais there, i thought we were the only ones lol.

I am from Kandahar province.

I've heard many good stories about Kandahar during the years of peace.

One story, I can never forget is when my cousin mentioned about the first snow storm Kandahar had in it's history. Many villagers had never seen snow and knew little about it. They thought it was end of the world; most of them rushed inside their homes out of fear.

Whenever, I remember this story it makes me laugh and I wish, I had the chance to experience these stories myself back home. I pray to Allah swt to bring peace to Afghanistan and rebuilt our country so we can once again move in and cherish it's beauty and enjoy the sun and enjoy the beautiful sceneries.

I never have, but I'm hoping next time I visit Afghanistan I get the chance to go down to Kandahar. I had plans the last time, but my father-in-Law was against it due too the security situation.

I am from Wardag (dad is wardag) and mom is kandahari.
