How do you view the american "Muslim" groups like Nation of Islam and the Five Percent Nation?

I adhere to some of their beliefs, but they are not Muslims in the Islamic sense, only in name.

I am a 5%er of my own class, I do not believe in all the shirk but I believe in other things they teach.

they are a joke.

Nation of Islam,are disbelievers,they do not believe in Allah and his Messenger and the last day.

I think their ideologies are more geared towards African Nationalism.

nation of islam is far away of islam , its a sect just like salafis or wahabis , which tend to be a little closer but still a sect .

but the difference between the two is , most of the nation of islams followers in regard to their political views and understanding , are far far advanced than your average selfproclaimed salafi .

especially farakh khan is a very capable and sharp thinker
