actually all the lochaks have moved on to kabul now except the few who refuse to take money from you when you buy something from them.....besides, all those khaista khaista baghuna aow da naringano wonai makes up for it...

when we go to kabul they say we talk like pakistani pashtoons and so other pashtoons says that too. there is a place in pak they speak pashto OMG its soo hard to understand

Waziristan pashto is different..most Tribel areas pashto is hard to understand.

Kabul is just perfect, all four seasons and mix of cultures. You will find all ethnicities in Kabul, living side by side. May God curse those who have ruined this beautiful place.

Agreed man, where is Nangarhar province in the list? But to be honest, I loved Pekhawer how it was back in the '90's. Unfortunately, it isn't the same any more........

Not entire Kabul maybe, but the shopping centres indeed are. In Pukhtoon areas where I went, men were staring but never made any comments and tried to take distance if you passed by, I was really happy seeing that and thought all Afghan men are this respectful. But as soon as I arrived in Kabul shopping centre, not only their ordinary men, even their policemen tried to be cheesy. I was walking to this clothing store with my sisters-in-law and these huge group of Panjsheri guys (could tell from their accent, shawl and 'pakool') walked by, the entire group stopped and one of them said (in Dari); 'Subhanallah sister, what good have you done in your life that Allah Subhana Wa Tallah made you this white and this beautiful?'

I was really disgusted because in my entire life I had never seen or heard any Afghan man make such a ridiculous remark towards an Afghan female, and that also in a crowd with hundreds of people! This truly showed the difference between respect Pukhtoons give you, and with lust other Afghans look at you.

Pekhawar, my other beloved (after Swat, my home). I'm not fond of starless skies and tall buildings. Well, that'd be parts of Pekhawar, anyway.
