Someone had linked the above and I skimmed through it ... and I watched the video as well ..which is linked somewhere there ...



Anyways ... I m wondering if there is a more effective way to get the message across...

I went to RIS a few weeks ago, and I remember one of the speakers talking about how certain other non muslim groups ... are productive about things they disagree with w/out protesting ...and how maybe more muslims should follow that path ...instead of yelling in the streets :| (I am not quoting ... just sharing what I picked up).

So what do you guys think about protesting?

No one has ANY thoughts on this?

or am I very unclear :|

Iqra... i too think that nobody pays attention to protesting.....protesters are just ignored and its assumed they would get tired which really happens most of the times......

I think protesting is sometimes a useful way of getting media attention for a particular cause. It (the protest) might not always achieve it's goal but if it gets media attention at least more have been made aware of the cause.

Protesting and yelling is useless.

You need a powerful figure who can serve you interests.

Jews have their lobby groups in every country. USA, Canada, Britain, Holland, Germany, France and even Russia.

Muslims don't even have a powerful lobby group serving their own interests in their own home turf. We are being screwed over at home by murtadeen and hypocrites. And nobody is daring to open their mouth.

We must protest in a democratic way. Protesting is not some thing bad but the way you do it may be bad or good. Violent protests may be avoided. You can protest my raising slogans, my wall charts, by internet, by books, magazines, posters, out side the parliamnet or governmnet offices but always in a civilizzed and peaceful way.
