sometimes i lose files and i dono where they go.. screen is full and files lost.. but when i move old files.. they appear again..

I save everything on desktop and when its filled fully i create a folder "desktop" on desktop and send the whole stuff there.... and resume filling the desky :D

looool that's what i used to do on my job. after i left they used to search for hours to find the files they needed. they even called me a couple of times asking for where i had saved certain file

It's ubuntu linux version 10.3. Linux is pretty cool, you can dual boot and have both windows and linux. The only problem with linux, is that games, or certain softwares such as (itunes, MS Office) and certain hardware drivers are a pain to install. Give it a try though.

King Khan, I'm actually doing the Educational Content Evaluation on a product that is part of a Mobile Literacy program. (The cross-over between Technology and Education is my field with the concentration on education).

Just think ... one way to challenge illiteracy in places like Afghanistan is to engage technology. I think the figure is 1/2 billion people (probably more now) across the globe who are walking around with phones in the pockets. Todays mid-high end phones have the processing power of a late 90s/early 21st century Home PC, so they are ideal for running, amongst other things, educational content.

Anyway, I know some one who is developing adult literacy content using the Afghan Education Ministry standards and has asked me to write a report on the first chapter. That was my screen-shot.
