somali food is very underrated, they have one of the best rice/meat dishes i have tried, and yes they do have banana with rice, its unusual but a nice experience.

isn't generic afghan/iranian food similar?? of course the regional foods will be different

arabic food servings are so large. i had some yesterday and i haven't developed an appetite for a proper meal ever since.

the banana they cook is called plantain bananas and they are not always sweet when cooked.

Karachi, Iranians and Afghans do not have the same cuisine.

Iranians use green peas and saffron in their rice.....usually they do not let the rice to get very soft, making it like a dry structure. They dont eat much stew like meat or biryani style dishes. They use lots of fruits in their dishes. Their kabab tends to be dry as well. But with a lot of tomatoes and onions on the side. Their bread is different too.

Dam pukht, Tikka, Kabaab and most of all the Afghani Pulao !! Brilliant !!

I had a Thai Green Curry last Ramadan after I came out of the airport. It was kind of an essential iftar meal that I had at the hotel restaurant. The rice was predictably sticky. I can't remember what I had for desert, suffice to say the selection on offer was Thai.

The after taste of the curry was so strong that I could still taste it for weeks after and it gave me serious doubts as to whether my fasting after that particular Iftar was valid as a result.

Also, on a side note please NO aubergines. Or at least not so many. I had so many aubergines when on vacation in North Africa one year, that I was hallucinating them when I got back.

Lebanese food is amongst my favourite especially Shish Tawook, variations of which also turns up in places like Kabul and Istanbul.

Moroccan, Lebanese, Greek and French... but I rarely eat meat.

ive tasted brazilian,sudanese,somalian.

brazilian food,alot of sea creatures with rice,pretty tasty.
somalians eat banana with spaghetti.
sudanese rice or maybe it was somalian tasted great ,they used a different tactic,for example not pre boiling the rice.

I've heard lots of good things about Chinese food in Peshawar. Gotta try it to see for myself.

I tried their food in Dubai " Arbat Restaurant " , liked it but some of the dishes were FULL of fat . In Tajikistan I think I ate Russian food , not sure though .

Arab cuisine (specially from the Levant and Iraq (very similar) which means Iraqi, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan and Egyptian cuisine).

I also like Iranian, Italian, French and some Indian dishes.

I unfortunately don't know much Afghan cuisine. I suspect Tajik to be much similar to Iranian with Russian influences and Pashtun to have more Pakistani influences? Is that correct? I have not tested much Pakistani nor Afghan (Pashtun) food.

i love turkish food too. especially thise lovely dips. must make myself some.
some of my own meals are the best. lol.
marsala dosai, halwa, gelebi, samosas, chapati, raita, some curries, roti telor, parathas. indian.
thai green and red curries.
fresh cooked sardinas, spain.
greek salad.
malaysian food.
the occassional chip buttie with tomato sauce, english.
