Did he say he was using olive oil for frying? Doesn't olive oil has a low smoking point and denatures when on high heat?

Had my very first Chapli Kababs last month (September 2011) , from a restaurant in Mirgab in Kuwait , and I liked the taste .

I like chappli kebab but I find it really hard to digest with all the oil.
