I'm on a mission to finish up a website that I started a while back. I know the basics about Dreamweaver, but beyond that I'm lost.
I was wondering does anyone know of any good tutorials, books or sites that could help me out?
I can't wait to show everyone my finished product, I know the girls are going to love it!

In first year uni, one of the course requirements was to complete a website using Dreamweaver with very minimal aid from friends and tutors. I referred a lot to the Adobe website for tutorials and my textbook for that particular unit. This (http://tv.adobe.com/show/learn-dreamweaver-cs5/) link has some useful videos that I used that helped break down some of the many things that were new to me.
All the best with it and I look very forward to seeing it.

Well do you know any programming languages? I have used Dreamweaver, and I can tell you that if you don't know any programming languages, Dreamweaver's "design" WYSIWYG feature won't do you much good on its own. That is if you want to build a great dynamic website. I recommend you learn PHP, and CSS, VERY EASY to learn languages. Many great tutorials are available online. And I can help you too if you need any help. But here, regarding dreamweaver, I just found some tutorials that might be helpful to you.
Programming » Dreamweaver Tutorials - Tutorialvault.net (http://www.tutorialvault.net/categories/Programming/Dreamweaver/3/)
And this is a great site to ask for help with any problem that you might have:
PHP Freaks - PHP Help Index (http://www.phpfreaks.com)
BTW, here are some recent websites that I am working on:
HaqMolaAli - Online Shia Community (http://bangash.site50.net/index.html)
Programming is just one of my hobbies.

Thanks Haider! No, sadly, I don't know any programming language. That's why I got stuck last year and left the whole project alone. So it would be better to learn PHP and CSS and then get into building the site from ground up? I went to the adobe link Mahzala provided, and they pretty much broke everything down. I'll see where that takes me. If I get lost, I'll definitely ask for you help. If that's alright with you of course. =)

I can give you links to video tutorials but they'll require some time to download since each file is about 100MBs, and are on file hosting sites.
In the mean time you can download these books I found on the web:
If you are interested in learning any language, particularly web, start with HTML. It's simple and gives you a good foundation. It will help you learn PHP and CSS much faster.
Use Lynda.com. its a awesome site that teaches practically all Computer programs. am using it for 3DS Max right know, and am getting better. you have to pay monthly. but its damn near worth it. you will have acess to all their video tutorials and such.
check it out! Lynda.com
