It's a relatively new book. Very short. Based on biographies of both Bacha Khan and Wali Khan and some other books.

It is very insightful and unlike most Pashto books I've seen so far, this one is very well written, in academic style.

I have not finished reading it yet. But I am satisfied for now with what I ahve read. I advice you guys to find copies of this book and read it if you want to know about Bacha Khan and Pashtun resistance.

What I'd really like is an anthology of short stories nicely pressed and bound ... Feroz Afridi is putting something together a children's collection I think ...

Personally, I think we should push Pashto literacy and just talk about it ...

Well am reading "Ghajrey" by Qalandar Momand....though i have read it once before.....the best ever fictions written in Pukhto Literature.....everyone shud study it.....very amazing afsanay.....showing the exact image of pukhtoon society....

As Tor Khan suggested, talking to people with similar feelings/love for Pashto and Pashto literature would be a good idea.

For the past some time, I've been trying to seek someone who would be willing to teach Pashto at the university I'm attending. Someone mentioned to me that I should get in touch with and talk to Abaseen Yousafzai, the well-known Pashto poet and critic and currently the Chairman of Pashto Department at Islamia College University. He is also involved with the Pashto academy (Pashto Department of Peshawar University). I have his e-mail and phone number, but I'm not sure if I should share either of them here. I will ask him, and if he okays it, I'll post it here then so that anyone who wants to talk to him directly about any plans regarding Pashto projects, he can help us out.

So, yeah, I'd suggest contacting the Pashto departments of Peshawar University and Islamia College and seeing if anyone there with some experience can do something about the lack of Pashto literature out there, OR at least give us some ideas of how to come up with something ourselves.

wahdatul wujood is kufr. It is not in quran nor in hadith. It is a concept deviants have adapted from other religions and introduced it into Islam.

yea I had the same problem so I went to work and printed hundreds of pages off the net. i printed whole books every other day with a hightech laser printer.
for free=).

the address of the website mentioned on the cover of the book leads me here---> but my dad had to ask danish publishers back in afghanistan a few months before we were going to find him this book with a few others.

try contacting their branch in jilalabad. i don't know if it was a favor or they do deliver but they have delivered to us in the past.

more of a favorish type of thing.

he didn't send them to me. he sent them to my father. enough of you go back and forth. i get blisters from dragging suit cases full of books instead of nice cloths and jewelery every time i go. email the guy and ask him. i m sure he will help you.
