can't draw anything. in 9th grade my art teacher promised to give me a mark with which i could pass with some dignity if i promised to draw him 1000 stick men.

this logo was designed by me at the age of 11 for the private school i went to the logo is on every jumper,school leaflets books, bags board even now to this day.

well, you would need a 3d terrain generator and one that allow you to define the terrain manually for better control. You will also need a rendering application such as E-ON VUE.aww wrora this computor language is too complicated for me lol im new to computors ect il learn 1st and then see , excellent work your doing i like it alot good for screen savers too i like the one you did.

shamlawar, that is really good. i used to paint portraits all the time but not these days. you must make sure you treat yourself to the best quality art equipment as you have a very good talent for portaiture.

I draw mostly with hand and without colours ...our world is black and white haha
if there were someone who had knowledge with the colours

some basic info about colour that i like is: hot to cold.
hot colour is red, warm is yellow, cold is blue. (the 3 prime colours)
warm colours are oranges, pinks, yellows.
cool colours are greens and pale blues and mauves.
purple is made from blue and red, mix of cold and hot.
green is blue and yellow; cold and warm.
when contrasting colours against each other, i bear in mind these ideas. for example, if you have a blue/green scene, then add a red, yellow or orange thing, it will stand out.
red and white are both eye attracters. if you add a red object it is best to be balanced out by a similar colour elsewhere on the picture or in the middle. depends where you mainly want the eye to be directed.
white brings things forward, black and dark colours tend to make things retreat.
hope that makes sense to you.

something i recommend though, is to get yourself some good quality art equipment. good brushes especially. they are expensive but worth it.

is it just pencil?
make sure you have good quality equipment, paper etc. it really makes a big difference having the correct surface to work on, too. according to hardness of pencils or paint you use.
for example, if i use acrylic paint to do a watercolour style painting, it is rubbish. the paint doesn't flow the same and the the area painted, dries all patchy.
there are different grades of soft to hard in pencils too.

i drew it with 3 different pencil grades, experimenting (2b or not 2b, that is the question) lol. Thanks for the tips will try a painting next time, who knows might get to your level one day.

acrylics are the easiest paint medium but i love oils the best. just take longer to dry. having to use turps for mixing the paint and cleaning the brushes is smelly, but oils give a picture more depth and intensity.
water colours are the most difficult. you have to get it right the first and second wash as you can't paint over and over like you can with acrylics or oils. you are not supposed to use white, to mend things as it shows up and spoils the look of the picture.

Nah,i was drawing also people but i stopped due to Shariah rulings about drawing humans.
