Default Marriages between Punjabi Muslims and Punjabi Sikhs in Punjabi diaspora - 08-11-2012, 09:39 PM

How are these marriages common? I once lived with a Punjabi Muslim from Lahore and otherwise a staunch Pakistani nationalist, he told me such marriages are pretty common. Ironically, he admitted he would not hesitate marrying a Sikh girl.

i have seen couple of kashmiri girls married with sikh and hindo. i guess they culturally more closed to each others. sikh girls usually dont marry non-sikhs.

Mr Adam Alai Salam, are you still playing as a front-man for hvzSulatna posting his essays here? (just kidding).

The guy never knew I was a Pashtun nationalist.

Pesho, it was about Punjabis intermarrying despite the difference of religion. But explain this Paki word ? Doe that also include any Pashtun from Pakistan?

that requires for a beautiful mentality as well as lots of patience and understanding unless they do it because they don't care for their religions. just because you lack the understanding to love or respect someone who does not necessarily share your own religion doesn't mean you should discredit those who do.
what do you do with a husband or a wife who prays five times a day but treats you or your family like ****.

what are u gonna do when ur husband is not muslim... what religion are ur kids gonna be????

and by religion we r not allowed to marry some1 outside of our religion unless they convert... i feel u marrying someone who cares for u and ur fam but different cultures and religions dont work i see it alot here.. thats total bull **** to say u can be patient and understanding... it just dont work

Hahaha---Sikh marriages are colorful. I found the following on youtube. Don't know whether the girl is really Muslim or do Sikhs also have Muslim names.
