Default Man love thursday - 03-17-2012, 02:30 PM

There is talk of a festivity called 'man love thursday' in afghanistan and also ANA. It is reported as extremely widespread.

Any ideas how this could not be noticed?

Have any of you participated in it or know anyone that has? If so, could you enlighten us.

Famous mil-blogger, Michael Yon writes: On Thursday nights, the ANA have what the Brits call man love night, or man love Thursdays. ...

Just because I report something, you consider it gay.

No sir, when men follow me round harrassing me, or participate in man love Thursday's, they are homosexual.

These are matters to be focused on, not women's rights yet. These are basic human rights.

I find latent homosexuality to be far more insidious than openly gay homosexuality.

the afghan army, brought to you by the folks at...

There is nothing in our book, the Qur'an, that teaches us to suffer peacefully. Our religion teaches us to be intelligent. Be peaceful, be courteous, obey the law, respect everyone; but if someone lays a hand on you, send him to the cemetery. That's a good religion.

the guy mentions it in a short bit, if it were anymore than just hearsay, i might be inclined to believe it. not to say there aren't a bunch of homos in these armies, but i don't buy that this day of homoness exists at an unofficial level.

^When there's denial it is homosexuality, it's more rampant.

if a man stabs another man up the bum and says, it's not homosexuality, everyone else agrees, something isn't quite right. It means there's a culture of acceptance of homosexuality (even though they don't recognize it).

In the west being homosexual is still something a lot of heterosexuals don't wish to be seen as. In Ana the homosexuals aren't seen as homosexuals by heterosexuals. Why would a heterosexual agree?

A lot of these Muslim homosexuals are probably in heterosexual marriages.

Isn't it obvious? Don't tell me you're gay also.

READ THE FIRST POST. It is easy to understand.

If you genuinely cannot read, it's about homosexuality in the ANA but would probably extend to society to some extent as well.

It says, if you have sex with another man, you are not a homosexual as long as you're married to a woman.

So you can have sex with another man and not be homosexual.

To me, that sounds seriously stupid. You?
