Default Looking for KARHAI KABAB recipe - 09-30-2011, 04:31 AM

1. I have seen KARHAI KABAB prepared everywhere in Landikotal Bazar / Torkham. It is very popular. They hang two small "karhais" or pots from a tripod. In the lower pot is burning coal. The upper pot contains small pieces of lamb / "dumba" meat. I heard they use the "dumba" fat to cook it.

2. But this I recall from long years back when I was not so interested in the recipe. So my details may not be accurate.

4. I shall be grateful if anyone can tell me the recipe and preparation method.

There is no such thing as onions in karhayee :s

And Asad why is there a number 3 missing in your post?

1. Sorry, that was an oversight which is now corrected.

2. Yes, I doubt what our friend DaZahroJaam has kindly mentioned is the Karhai Kabab I am looking for. Anyone visiting Landikotal couldn't have missed this.
