Hybrids are a scam though. They donĀ“t even help the environmental situation. For a car that is actually environmentally friendly, you have to get a solar car, electric car, or a vegetable waste car.

^ thats true but this isnt supposed to be an evironment thing, hybrid technology is a fairly advanced technology..and you would understand the joy in seeing some young students capable of pulling of something like this in a country which doesnt have an automobile manufacturing industry and very few resources

Actually, the whole point of hybrids and what they are marketed as is that they are environmental. The thing I find most hilarious is when I read of people with two or more hybrids...yeah, that equals one whole car! Lol...

Pakistan doesnĀ“t have an automobile industry?

we dont manufacture cars no..we assemble them locally but we dont have a local company.

Also for the hybrids, despite all the enviro BS the main reason behind there success was that they didnt use as much fuel and pakistan relies mostly on natural gas to run its cars... its cheaper right now but in future it will get expensive so we need an alternative solution

Well yeah, but itĀ“s very expensive to make hybrids even compared to just plain olĀ“ diseal cars. IĀ“m going to get a vegetable oil car in the future so I donĀ“t have to go to gas stations and such.
