no they fight with the black flag and when they conquer or in their words liberate an area, they put the white flag over that area.

white = peace
black = war

but these talibs are idiots like our friend soldat. they very much deserve each other.

There is nothing in our book, the Qur'an, that teaches us to suffer peacefully. Our religion teaches us to be intelligent. Be peaceful, be courteous, obey the law, respect everyone; but if someone lays a hand on you, send him to the cemetery. That's a good religion.

Since I was born, Afghanistan had 6 different flags and atleast 4 different national anthems.

I personally do not care who burns a piece of cloth because I do not identify myself with a flag, an anthem or a nation.

My nation of Pakthuns/Afghans isnīt born yet.
The seed has been planted but it takes time I guess.

I donīt understand your comment.

What does Abdurrahman Khanīs flag have anything to do with the fact that tribes have their own flags and that there never have been a flag that represented them all?

I donīt care about the royals or how they achieved "legitimacy" with orchastrated Loya Jirgas.

I dream of a tribal confederation as the nucleus of a Pashtun/Afghan nation.

I thought you name yourself "infidel Pashtun" on Liveleak,what are your concerns,a flag does mean nothing.

The real flag of Afghanistan isn't yet decided.

It would be something that symbolize our commitment to Islam (meaning with Shahada,Kalima)

Don't any of you dare thank this post.
When did I speak of values daffy duck!

Taliban lovers on here claim they fight for Afghanistan but why did they burn the flag in the video.

Burning the flag means they dislike the Nation as a whole, you don't see people saying I love Iran but let me burn its flag do you.

Khushal is a Pakistani Taliban applogist himself, you will see them use all kinds of excuses now to save their Taliban image.

ahhhh yeah abdur rehman had a different flag blah blah blah.....new excuse everyday.

I bet they will say next that they had to ban female education because people like Malalai Yusufzai will be born.

To be honest, Afghans and Pashtuns alike are retarded by MAJORITY, I say this because its true.

SHOW ME A SINGLE RACE OF PEOPLE WHO BURN DOWN GIRLS SCHOOLS....NONE.............only Pashtuns do it.

Pashtuns throughout history have disliked reformers from their own society, they loved smuggling, banditry, warlordism, tribalism, fanaticism of all forms including communism too.

Show me a time in our history where we lived in peace...the only way to get us united is to promise us war booty as did Durranis and others done in the past.

We live in different times but our minds are stuck backward.

Sorry to say its true.
