from my pantry - prune butter, apple pulp, apricot butter, bean in vinegrette (yummy starter), cucumbers in brine... Today I'm going to make ajvar and roasted paprika. And later this month - marinated, pasteurized and dried mushrooms.

I think that Parmiggiano Regiano is made using calf rennet. What made you thinking that it is made of pig rennet? Maybe you mean any parmesan type cheeese?
We are not Muslims, so such restrictions do not apply to us. But we rarely eat any meat and meat products.
