No !! It's not in jammu& kashmir region ! It's in north himachal pradesh region

Ladakh ( the region north to himachal pradesh ) is not in kashmiri valley, tibetan / pahari people ( budhists and hindus in majority ) are living there.

Only jhelum river ends in kashmir valley so you are wrong.
