spoon = cochoogha

We use dong for tall as well. Fahd is the one who first introduced me to that word.

Marwat and our dialect is more or less the same.

Apart from "mazhakayi" (sounds like mozhak which we call mouse) we use all those words too.

I dont believe you are Pashtun but if somehow you are, this is not a unique dialect. It is shared by me.

The posts I thanked means I also use that word or understand it.

Unless you're from Bannu, I don't think there will be many unique words in your dialect.

Truth is most words are shared by neighboring or related tribes.

These are some words few here will understand.

gharma/ghorma/ghurma = sun
kshalye = beautiful
se = that
yaa = ham/also, too, as well
khworra = food
shezh = frost
pinnai = snow
shigara = rain
tarbizak = scarf/tekrai
mazdak / makhjad = mosque
che/kshe = in
mashom chamberrak = bat
pezhandi = he/she/it recognizes

Thanks for letting me know. Guess it reinforces what we talked about before re: Karlanri dialects.

What about 'geez' for morning. I haven't yet come across a Pashtun who uses that. Everyone says 'sahar'.
