Talking Survey : human remains findings (1,9 Mil old) contradicts Evolution theories - 09-09-2011, 12:55 PM

A German newspaper today published this report :

http://de.nachrichten.yahoo.com/stud...172424397.html

which talks about this Newrelease by THE SCIENCE MAGAZIN

Insight into Australopithecus sediba

http://www.sciencemag.org/site/extra/sediba/index.xhtml

Special Collection: Australopithecus sediba

The transition in human ancestry from Australopithecus, the genus that existed for 2 million years before Homo, has been enigmatic. A key fossil from near the time of this transition is Australopithecus sediba, which is represented by several specimens discovered in a cave in South Africa. Five Reports in the 9 September 2011 Science, as well as a related News Focus package and podcast interview, discuss important features of the A. sediba fossils, including some that are not well preserved in other similar hominid remains.

This indicates that no changes took place since 1,9 Mil years.

A Big Blow to some of these fake scientists, biologists who stil believe that their forefathers were monkies or aps.

A well-preserved and articulated partial foot and ankle of Australopithecus sediba, including an associated complete adult distal tibia, talus, and calcaneus, have been discovered at the Malapa site, South Africa, and reported in direct association with the female paratype Malapa Hominin 2. These fossils reveal a mosaic of primitive and derived features that are distinct from those seen in other hominins. The ankle (talocrural) joint is mostly humanlike in form and inferred function, and there is some evidence for a humanlike arch and Achilles tendon. However, Au. sediba is apelike in possessing a more gracile calcaneal body and a more robust medial malleolus than expected. These observations suggest, if present models of foot function are correct, that Au. sediba may have practiced a unique form of bipedalism and some degree of arboreality. Given the combination of features in the Au. sediba foot, as well as comparisons between Au. sediba and older hominins, homoplasy is implied in the acquisition of bipedal adaptations in the hominin foot

this is what the article translated from German into English says

Quote:
Study: Vormensch Australopithecus sediba already made tools
Developed ability, therefore much earlier than previously thought

Fossil discovery in South Africa (Picture: Reuters).
The ancestors of the people according to a study appear much earlier than previously thought have been able to produce tools. This goes out on Thursday in a U.S. science magazine "Science" published study suggests. The researchers had studied the bones of two years ago in South Africa discovered Australopithecus sediba and found that these living 1.9 million years ago hominids their hands still used for locomotion in trees, but at the same time it also could have finished tools.

A unique fossil find from South Africa has proved to
be a possible new human ancestor. The investigation shows that the two million year old skeletal remains, among the oldest fully preserved hand. Australopithecus sediba have to use his hands still climbing on trees, but also has the "ability of the human precision grip," says a team led by Tracy Kivell from the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology in Leipzig. Australopithecus sediba is therefore a better candidate for tool manufacture than the Homo habilis, which because of its advanced features as hand dubbed "skillful man".
another quote says

Quote:
The two well-preserved skeletons of a 10 - to 13-year-old boys and a 30-year-old woman were discovered in 2008 in South Africa's Sterkfontein region and introduced last year, the public has been. About 80 researchers from several countries have examined the remains now in detail and present their results in five articles in the journal "Science". The fossils were an important element for the understanding of human evolution, said Kivell. "About 2 million years ago could possibly exist several hominid species that produce in spite of different hand tools and work already Anatomy" then put the close comparison with Homo habilis that.

if this article contradicts evolution why does the article say that it contributes to our understanding of human evolution?

obviously, because the author agrees with your theory, of course.
but isn't there something about the sediba brain size that has also put the earlier theory into question? how can the theory of evolution be fact, when it keeps changing goalposts?

but that's the thing whatever the article says doesn't change the goal posts of evolution . The mechanisms of evolution still occur regardless ...what it is saying is they're finding one species evolved earlier than they once believed with the data. The theory itself ....is still in tact

that's why I quoted what I did, there is no controversy regarding the way evolution works, but at what times and phases species came about is what scientists are teasing out

contrary to changing goal posts, critics such as yourself are presenting straw men arguments

You are saying that you observed one species changing into another?!

"intellectual dishonesty"? Fraud? "Makes arguments without evidence"? "I am calling your bluff"? Which one of these common phrases that you use should I use ...hmm

And this article contradicts science how..... ?

If anything, it talks about a specimen that was "hominid" but not homosapean.

According to creationists like you, there were no primitive people. In fact, there wasn't even a stone-age.

"If a nation expects to be ignorant and free, in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be".

"Knowledge will forever govern ignorance; and a people who mean to be their own governors must arm themselves with the power which knowledge gives".

I like how you skipped the other thread where I showed that your examples actually acknowledge evolution, and then you refuse to show your claim that ALMOST ALL PhD's (people who have completed studies in Evolution) reject the theory of evolution
