First of the experiments you can awaite is one of the most famous methods used in forensics to find blood traces even the blood is cleaned and washed away years after you can find its traces...with this experiment.

Mix equal parts Sulfur and Iron powder .
Mix on an other pot Zinc and sulfur equal parts.
Put them in separate pots and try to put with high attention fire on them from distance!

Chemicals needed for this Experiment :

1. C8H7N3O2 Luminol
2. NaOH Sodium hydroxide solution
3. H2O2 Hydrogen peroxide (30 %)
4. K3[Fe(CN)6] (Potassium ferricyanide (III))

Tools needed :

1. A bottle with which you can spray the solution on the objects or surfaces to find the blood traces ( like those used for window cleaning).
2. Some glases to mix the solution,which you don't use for drinking or eating.

Where to spray ?

• 
  Find some place where you had placed some meat or you had blood traces from meat or anything else or your own blood if you had once somewhere.

Why Potassium ferricyanide (III)) ?

• It is used in this Experiment to check your Luminol solution if it is working.

How to mix the solutions to get what you need to find blood traces?

Luminol solution : Mix 0,1 g Luminol with 5 ml of the sodium hydroxide solution add some distilled water to it that you get a solution of 50 ml Luminol.

Fill this solution into the spray bottle.


Potassium ferricyanide (III) solution : Add 0,3 g Potassium ferricyanide (III) to 30 ml Water.


Dark the place where you are testing your Experiment,add 3 ml of H2O2 Hydrogen peroxide to the potassium ferricyanide.

Now after spraying the Luminol solution on the potassium ferricyanide (III) you will see a lighting of it.


And the final step,you should add at least 3 ml of H2O2 hydrogen peroxide to the Luminol solution.


Now you can test it on the surface where you had meat or anything similar...to find the blood traces,and et voilà you got what you looked for.

Can I give another experiment?
It is a bit dangerous, and sure not for children.(Explosiv and caustic).

You need only 3 things:
Cocentrated sulfuric acid(98%)
KMnO4 in powder
Black humus

Put the acid in a clean glass (about 10 ml should be enough).
Mix it with the the KMnO4 powder.

A green liquid (Mn207) will be formed.

Now try from the far distance to throw a piece of black earth in the glass - the green liquid will explode with beautiful violet smoke!

Coal mountain:

Take a flat plate and put on it 3-4 tablespoons of sugar.
Add 2 spoons of concentratedsulfuric acid.

Go in distance and wait some minutes(PS - do the experiment in a place where You can wash after the traces of acid away and where it won't harm anybody.


Due to dehydrification of the sugar You will see grow a mountain of coal.
