| This thread does not really deserve to sit in the Religion section of the forum, which by and large contains articles that further our knowledge of Islam and other comparative religions. But, for what its worth, right now this thread stays - at least to offer the subject the right of redress. In my opinion most of the "billions of Muslims" mentioned in Ms Sher's post are trying to scratch their livelihoods together to 'enraged' about a mindless posting on the internet that cannot really be verified against a genuine action. Whether Soldat has gone through a formal conversion or whether it was all just bravado to seek approval - he knows best. His 'error' probably lies more in the latter, but I still smell a rat. The flip-flop approach to religion lacks a certain maturity, so I stick to my opinion about one individual coming across as slightly confused. I didn't attribute this directly to him, but mentioned that this news was being picked up by others via social media. But that isn't the rat. The rat is the intention of the person who set up this thread. On the one hand, (and whilst I don't agree with his tactic) it could be said that the Member who flip-flops his religious/anti-religious identity on a frequent basis is at least not hiding this matter. However, the person who sets up this thread and writes that billions of Muslims on this planet are "enraged" has NEVER ONCE been publicly honest about their own religious identity vis-a-vis Pashtuns nor their justifications for trying to inflame others into reaction. |

| conversion is one thing, but i dont understand why he feels the pain of russians and serbians so much and not others. what about the thousands and thousands of innocent bosnian families killed by serbians or what about the millions of people from afghanistan to chechnya killed by russians? |

What about Albanians or the people of Kosovo? Anyway, since Soldat lives in England and seems to have renounced his Pashtun identity and does not live under Islamic law then I guess he can do what he pleases. What is unnecessary is to lie about what he says or believes it. Then don't tell anything at all. How hard can it be? Anyway I don't think he will change his approach to Islam and Muslims. It seems that he has strong opinions from whatever sources. Anyway I understand that some Pashtuns find him and his views as a disgrace towards Pashtuns but let me tell you this. He is not the first or last Pashtun to have such beliefs. Similar can be found in all Muslim countries especially in the West. Some people tell me that Muslims in the West are becoming like Westerness (less religious or sometimes not religious at all but more cultural). Ultimately he is responsible for himself in this life and that which will follow no matter what we do. I saw some of his videos long ago and some of the articles he posted but they were filled with wrong information and he was also caught. Since then it has been the same rhetoric. I guess he is still strugling with his identity that's a pretty normal thing. As I once said, he sometimes have true and good points but the second after he tells those few points the rest of his speaches are filled with hatred/bias etc. which destroys the good he says. Yes, Soldat-Amir please call me what you like as you use to do and call Iraq and Saudi Arabia the same names as you always do. It only reflects on yourself and nobody else if you read this and reply. |

| LOL, that's the case with most of such people I assume. Has he become "famous" (LOL) in the Pashtun internet community outside of Afghanistan? It looks like so. Maybe that's his goal. To provoke people. Khostai: You should see his intial claims of being in Iraq and Checyna and killing so-called terrorists/fanatics there. Said he was a member of spetznatz (or how it's spelled) and that he was in some kind of regiment in Iraq and was in a division that killed an local Al-Qaeda member or something along those lines. Would you believe it, LOL. |
